In 2007 the founder of Corande
Publishing recognized that a significant shift was taking place
in the media, as increasing numbers of Americans abandoned traditional
print media and postal mail, in favor of electronic communications.
Through personal relationships
with leaders of non-profit organizations, the founder of Corande
Publishing realized that thousands of dollars, which could
better be invested in programs, were being spent by non-profit
organizations on traditional print and postage newsletters to
maintain communication with their membership. This led to some
intense analysis which evolved rather quickly into our business
model. In a nutshell, we are in the business of providing advertising-supported
electronic news, in the form of newsletters, for medium and large
organizations.
Corande Publishing sees digital
publishing as the practical and environmentally responsible alternative
to the traditional media available. Digital publishing quite simply
delivers content faster, with minimal impact on the environment,
and maximum convenience for the reader.
Digital publishing benefits advertisers
by utilizing links included in a digital document to relevant
information stored on the web, whether it be their websites or
elsewhere. With a digital document, readers have the ablility
to interactively respond with the "click of a mouse"
to product and service information that interests them. This
interactive access to potential customers is a benefit notably
missing from traditional, print, radio and television media.
Through a partnership with Corande
Publishing, medium and large organizations can replace their old-fashioned
print and postage based newsletters with advertising supported
e-mail newsletters for their membership, saving thousands of
dollars in the process. If those organizations represent a
commercially viable demographic, we also provide the opportunity
to share in ad revenue generated by their e-newsletter.
